This year the kids had a chance to make "gingerbread" houses (the ones made out of graham crackers) three different times. The kindergarteners had a winter performance and then we got to go back to the classrooms and decorate the houses together. They had already glued the crackers to mini milk cartons and we just frosted and decorated them. Laine and Cannon had their own as well. I put frosting on Laine's and then she picked it up and started eating the frosting off the house. Cannon was diligent in making his look nice and then ate all the candy after lunch.
The second time was at our 3rd annual gingerbread house event with the Williams family. They are moving to Utah in January and we are going to miss them. Again, Laine enjoyed eating the candy and frosting the most. The kids had fun sneaking candy up to Ridge's room later in the evening.
The third event was in Utah on Eric's birthday. Sara and Corey hosted at their lovely new home. We were on teams and as usual, Eric made quite a structure. I think he has more fun than the kids at these things.
