Optimus Pumpkin

Eric spent a lot of time carving pumpkins on Saturday. This is his fabulous creation.
This isn't a very good picture of all the pumpkins but he spent time with Laine, Cannon and Ridge to make sure that each of them got the pumpkin that they wanted.
Ready for trick-or-treat! They were only gone for about 40 minutes but they still got plenty of candy. And no one seems to like Snickers but me so I have a lot of those to eat. I remember coming home from trick-or-treating when I was little and my mom would ask for the
Baby Ruths and the Almond Joys and now I'm the mom asking for the nutty and coconut candy.

Sommer and I stayed home to hand out candy.

Nice pumpkin! We didn't even carve one. I really meant too but could hardly find the energy and will-power to do all the work so I put it off for days and suddenly its halloween night. oh well, Afton didn't really care this year...Don't you remember hardly getting any candy bars when we were little? Now it seems like that it what people pass out a lot.

I was just showing Afton your kids in their costumes and I noticed everyone is really bundled up! It must be cold there. I didn't even think about that because its in the 80s today and was pretty warm last night. I went trick-or-treating in my flip-flops.

It is cold here. I think our highs are in the 50s -- you'd freeze Lark! I wear my scarf around all day so that I stay warm and I don't have icy hands when I change diapers.

It is posts like these that make Matt say, "Doesn't Paige's life seem so glamorous? Her blogs are always filled with 'Well, I got thrown up on today, but kept a smile on my face the whole time because I just love me life!" And althougth I'm sure you are laughing at the thought, your blog really is great and reminds us to just have fun in life, no matter what else is going on. Thanks Paige!
