Laine turned 2! If you ask her if she is a toddler she'll reply, "No, I a happy girl!" She generally is and she had a very happy birthday. What a lucky girl she is to have grandparents who help make the day so special for her.
First thing in the morning she got to open the presents that came from Grandparents Sommer the day before -- twin babies and a Valentine sweater. Cannon promptly adopted the blue baby, Laine was fine with that, and they played with them all morning. Pink baby has to sleep by her even though we got her a crib for the babies.
Great-grandma Sommer's gift was a new outfit that she got to wear all day, she looked so cute. Here she is helping her baby say "cheese."
Grandma Blaser sent a new blanket and some books. Laine excitedly grabbed the blanket and covered herself up. She is enjoying the Sesame Street books.
The birthday girl wanted pink cupcakes with sprinkles. She couldn't blow out the candles by herself, though she tried many times. Cannon happily helped her out with that. All day long when asked, she would say "It's my birthday!" Love this cute girl.
