Chasing Fireflies

Yesterday I received this catalog in the mail. Cute company name and darling clothes, but a little out of my budget. In fact, I'm not sure I know anyone who has this kind of money to spend on dresses for their little girls or outfits for their boys. There are a few things that are so beautiful like this "frances coat" but it costs $134! I'd love to have this coat -- and an occasion to wear it. But my favorite example of impractical, beautiful clothing that is way overpriced, is this dress, the "fairy dust organza dress: WHITE cotton organza, cotton voile lining, Dry Clean. $198.
Laine's birthday today! More to come....

Have the people who designed these closes actually met a real child? Anyone who has should know that nothing for a child should be "dry clean only" In fact, nothing for a mom should be either. I forgot how messy newborns can be until I noticed that my laundry doubled when Anders was born with all of my clothes having to be changed a couple of times a day too. Yikes!!

That's one mailing list you ought to get out of, Paige! We could make that dress for $20 bucks, tho the wings might be a little tricky!
