Hand-Me-Downs

When I was little, a few times a year, I would get a bag of hand-me-downs from my neighbor. I loved those days, it was like a shopping spree delivered to my door. It helped that I thought my neighbor was the most perfectly beautiful girl. Her name was Kelly Snelson and she had long, blond hair and her own room! She was 3 or 4 years older than I but for a while when we were both younger, she tolerated my presence enough.

Last week Laine was given hand-me-downs from our neighbor and friend, Shilo. Even though Laine is only 2 she was still excited about the new clothes. As we were going through the bag she grabbed a mint-green zip hoodie and wanted to take off her sweater and wear the new one. The next day she didn't want to get dressed until I said, "Let's find something new from Shilo to wear." She decided that was a good thing and skipped to her room to get dressed.

Thanks Torrie and Shilo!
