It's about time
I know, I know. Where have you been Paige? Well, if you scroll down and read the recent posts backwards, you'll see that there was a windstorm. That started me getting behind in my posting. Then Christmas shopping. I meant to be better prepared but I saved most of my shopping until that week before Christmas. I was one of those late-night shoppers at the mall and Target and Toys R Us. Then the day after Christmas when I could have caught up, I took down our Christmas decorations and got everything cleaned up. Then that night Eric and I both got the stomach flu. What a horrible experience that was. So I was recovering from that on my other free day, and packing for our trip. Then we left for Utah. And now we're back. It does feel good to be home. Our house smelled as musty and old as the day we first walked inside.

Our house smelled that way too- and was freezing. we stayed overnight in Phoenix instead of driving straight home from mom and dad's because we knew our house wouldn't heat up quickly. Love/hate these old houses.
Hallelujah, your back! Thank you for all the updates. Checking everyones blogs has become part of my daily routine and I have been so anxious to see something new from you.
It was also great seeing you and the kids while you were here in Utah. Thanks for including us in your vacation. Hopefully we will see you again this summer when we visit Seattle.
Our house also smells old and musty when we come home from trips as well. How long do WE have to live in the house to overturn the old smell?? 2 years is apparently not long enough for our house. :)
