Early Halloween Decor

Ridge provided us with an early Halloween decoration. Hopefully Eric has a chance to replace the glass before Halloween arrives. Now the cracks are covered with blue painters tape, Cannon poked those little triangles out with his finger (without getting cut). Laine calls it "pre-i bu fower" (pretty blue flower). Ridge was twirling around his key chains that he had just transferred to a long cord and it flew off his finger and into the window. He called me out to the living room and I didn't notice it at first. He felt so bad he couldn't even speak, I thought he was going to be sick, but then I noticed it and he started crying. It was an accident. Is it wishful thinking to not say, the first of many?

School update: We think Ridge is enjoying school more. He doesn't smile at me from the bus, he is either scowling at me or giving me the saddest puppy dog eyes. And he gets off the bus tired and hungry so if Cannon gets in his way Ridge ends up in time-out and Cannon is crying. But I think we're all adjusting.
