Our friends offered us their old kitchen playset. We took it in an effort to get Laine to play with more girl toys. She is a champ at driving cars and playing trains and saying "awesome!" We did get her a little stroller but if you put a doll in it she throws the doll on the floor. The pink BooBah (found it at DI for .50) gets to have rides though.
So we were playing with the kitchen set, Cannon was especially excited about it -- he was serving "turritos" and making lots of spicy drink mixes -- but Laine lost interest and started doing "awesome tricks" on the bed ladder.
Ridge school update: Everyday he has cried before getting on the bus and he looks very unhappy as the bus drives away. Yesterday he made a friend and they chase the girls during recess. They also sit back-to-back at their tables. This made Ridge a little happier since he sits at a table with all girls including one that he knew from preschool -- "Sarah" he says with his eyes rolled up and eyebrows glaring. I don't know if that means he likes her or if it means he is bugged by her.
