This is what a 7th grader looks like. He wasn't that happy but he knows how to smile for the camera. He really wanted to get going so that he could just be done with the nervous anticipation of heading to middle school. The after school report was that he found all his classes, his locker jammed and he had to get a custodian to fix it, and that his backpack weighs a million pounds. Welcome to the big leagues.
We tried to get a picture of all the kids before Ridge left but Massimo wasn't ready for that yet.
Here we go. Teeth brushed, hair combed, backpacks on. Massi thought he was going to school too. He walked into Sommer's class with me and after she sat down asked "where's my chair?" He was ready to stay. I'm not ready for that yet. It was hard enough leaving Sommer there for her 1st grade day.
Massimo rode to school in style.
It helped that this year they were at the same school as last year, no longer the new kids. As of today after school, all their teachers are really nice and they like being in their grades. One day down...

You have the cutest kids! Thanks for taking time away from them to meet up with us in Provo. It was so good seeing you and visiting in person.
This is so wonderful to see and to hear about. The kids look so beautiful.
