Laine's first piano recital is on Thursday night. She started piano on her 5th birthday. She actually loves it and practices all the time for fun, but she was having trouble memorizing her piece, The Surprise Symphony. She'll do a great job and will probably have fun.
It will be the second recital for the boys. They just want to get it over with. They don't consider playing the piano as delightful a task as Laine does. Yes, there are many battles around here about piano.

What a nice photo. I had no idea Laine was taking piano lessons. I bet she will do a great job on her recital.
We sang some mother's day songs in primary and she knew all of the words to most of the songs. Laine is a sweet girl. I bet you are so happy to have her in your family.
This is such a sweet picture. I remember the piano battles well... the funny thing with my kids was that once they stopped taking lessons, they started sitting down and playing all the time!
