Jaunt across the border

We traveled to Canada over the weekend to walk through the recently completed Vancouver Temple. Anyone is welcome to go through before the temple is dedicated. We wanted our kids to have the chance to see it so we spent the weekend out of the country. (That sounds so posh.)

I'm sure that they will remember the cookies they had for everyone after the tour more than the actual temple but hopefully they'll remember enough about the beauty and peace to want to go to the temple again someday when they're older.

It does sound like you all had a fabulous time. Gotta love a dad who is willing to play in a cold pool with the kids while mom stays warm in the hot tub. That Eric is a great dad.
I am happy you were able to go up and experience the temple open house. Going through the new ones here in Utah before they were dedicated has really helped Bella and Ayva love the temples more.

Every time we drive down to DC, we see DC temple, and Seiju gets really excited about it. Lucky you and your family!
