The New Year's Card that Didn't

As I said before, I never got my Christmas cards done. When we were at the Seattle Center after Christmas I took this picture of the kids and even though it isn't the greatest photo of all them, I made it up into a postcard to send out for New Year's greetings. I didn't check to make sure it was the right size and when I got them back in the mail, Cannon was completely cut out of the picture. Costco will take them back, even though it was my mistake, but now I'm not going to send out New Year's cards either. Hope yours is going well so far!

This is such a cool picture! How frustrating to spend the time getting the writing just how you want it and then have them print wrong. I am glad that you posted it here!
Happy 2010! :)

LOVE the card idea! you are so creative!
don't worry about not getting out a card..i did and i was so disapointed in the way it turned out {my fault, not costcos} that i almost wish i hadn't done anything at all.
-the ages on the card are a great idea...did you do it in photoshop?
wish i had thought of it:)

Love it!!! I agree with the others, that is a very cool idea. Thanks for the posting so even if we didn't get one in the mail we could still enjoy the sentiment.

I LOVE THIS CARD!!!
and that is SO frustrating when that happens!
i know how to fix it if you want.
also, some places (like sams club) will print your true digital size. cuz most cameras don't take 4x6 photos.

Oh Paige! How disappointing. It really is such a great photo and idea!

It was disappointing and now it just feels too late to do it. I'm seriously thinking about sending 4th of July cards this year instead of Christmas cards.
