Good Looker

"Mom! I can't find my shoes!" (a couple minutes before we needed to leave.)

"Did you look in your room?"

"Yes!" (said in a very frustrated tone.)

"You'll just have to wear your other shoes then."

"Fine!" (He doesn't like them as much because they are camo lace-ups from wallmart and the other shoes are slip-ons from Vans.)

This is Ridge's closet. Those are Ridge's shoes. I didn't go upstairs to look for him but I should have because I am the "good looker" in the family. Are you the "good looker" in yours?

Nah, I'm more impatient like Ridge. I'd prefer someone just tell me where my keys, flip flops and sun glasses went.

Yes. If Ryan were looking at the proverbial needle in a haystack, not only would he not be able to find the needle, he'd miss the whole haystack.

haha, he'd fit right in with my boys! I can't count the number of times I've said "if it were a snake, it would have bitten you!" :)

Even my 2 year old says "No, YOU find it, Mom!" whenI tell him to look in his room. And they always seem so surprised when they find whatever it is laying right in the middle of the floor in plain sight. Like it suddenly appeared by magic. :)
