Aquarium. One more time.

One final trip to the aquarium before our pass expires at the end of the month. Ridge got brave in the touch pools. Usually they only touch the seastars.

The octopus was in full form, moving and putting on the best show. Usually it is hiding under a rock and very boring. Cannon was fascinated, we all were.

We wandered up to Pikes for donuts and fruit. I'd never realized that the little bench we sit on is named "Josephine's Chaise." I made Sommer pose for a picture and made her nervous. We at at Ivars -- it was beautifully sunny and warm enough to sit outside by the noisy seagulls. Aren't these the biggest grapes you've ever seen? They were so yummy.
What can we say? It was a great way to spend part of our day.

Seeing your photos makes me homesick for downtown Seattle. We used to alternate years, one for the zoo membership, one for the aquarium. You definitely lucked out on the weather - and on the grapes!
