Sommer was yelling at me from the living room. I knew she was at the piano because I heard her plunking on the keys but I didn't hurry in there because I thought she was on the chair and wanted me to sit and play the piano with her (I don't play well.) I was wrong about where she was sitting. She couldn't get down from this position of sitting with her feet on the keys. She's mad because Ridge was helping her instead of me because I was taking her picture.
Then the day after I heard a more worried "Mom!" from the piano. I still didn't hurry, she had a reason to feel worried, clinging to the edge of the piano like that.

I'm impressed you think to take a picture! Those pictures are the best, but I never remember to pull out the camera to capture the moment. Isn't the monkey stage terrible? Benji is still in the middle of it...climbing stools, chairs, etc., to get to anything he can...especially markers so he can decorate the walls!
I'm so glad I haven't had a climber. Yet.
that is too funny!
and she's so cute!
Hummm....troubles, troubles.
She is such a good climber. Good for her!
yikes!
what a monkey!
Thanks for posting this- now I don't feel like my little Greta is totally out there climbing into drawers. And now I know where to look for her next climbing feats!
Your piano and decorations around it look quite handsome.
Climbers definitely keep you busy. Paul pulled a dresser over on himself when he was about 18 months; one of the many times his legion of angels protected him.
I enjoyed getting to know you during our Wicked trip, too. Now I feel like I can legitimately add you to my "blog friends" instead of snooping through Kelly. :)
I haven't really had a climber yet but I'm sure she'll keep trying since she is left to fend for herself a lot. She loves shoving the chairs around from the dining room to the kitchen so that she can "help" me.
