Cannon lost his first tooth this week. He was screaming with excitement when he realized it fell out, finally, because he was playing with a rubber band in his mouth. Laine knew the toothfairy wouldn't forget him, I'm so glad she didn't because she has been forgetful lately.
Cannon played a prank on Laine earlier in the week. After bedtime stories Laine and I went downstairs for something and when we came back up she hopped onto her bed then promptly yelped and jumped off again. Cannon had dumped the remaining water from his water bottle on her bed "so that she would feel like she wet her pants." I was not amused and said, "are you kidding me?" in a not very kidding tone. So he mopped up the water and I got the new sheet. I told Eric about it and tried his best to be serious with me but couldn't stop the smile from forming on his face. His words, "you have to admit, it was a good prank." Now I think it's funny too, but at the time I was so done for the day and it wasn't funny.

Congratulations on the lost tooth! As for the prank, you are very kind. I think I might have made the prankster sleep in the wet bed...(no sense of humor here at bed time!)

but one that makes me so sad, the end of baby teeth.
your boys are hilarious. i think they introduced my kids to "booby-traps" at the beach. =)
