Overheard, luckily...

Let's use the parachute and jump off the roof of the playhouse!

(said on Friday during the afternoon of playdates at our house by the boys who were running down the stairs and heading out the door to the backyard. No one was injured because mom ran out the door to stop the jumping attempt.)

ROFL!! ROFL!!!! OH man...I'm still laughing so hard after reading that!!! LOL

Been there, done that, got the t shirt AND the ER bills for when I didn't overhear what the testosterone-fueled offspring was about to do.

ROFL Oh man...

Ask their dad about jumping out of the second story window to land on the trampoline--I can't remember if I learned about it early enough to thwart the effort or if I learned about it later and just cringed!

I love little boys!

I think they must have a little of Eric and a little of the Merrill blood in them. I just remember all the horror stories of Todd and Kurt doing stupid things like that too. Good luck! :)

I found the balloon picture on Flikr when I did a search for "Blaser." I thought it was pretty cool to find our last name like that.

Eric told the boys that he remembered jumping on the trampoline with a blue tarp and that there was so much wind when the Blasers first moved to Lindon that they would get pretty high in the air off the tramp. I've heard the jumping out the window story but I'm not sure if the boys were present for that one or not... One of the friends wasn't allowed to jump on our tramp because it doesn't have a net. Imagine her surprise if they had been jumping off the playhouse roof instead! He never would be allowed around us again.
