Weird new flu?

Ridge had to come home early from school today. He got a headache during the afternoon that he was in tears in the nurse's office. Poor guy. I was at Costco, timing it just right so I'd be home in time for the bus stop. He had to rest on the bed in the nurse's office for a while. As we were leaving she told me that she had a 6th grader out for a week with "headache" being the major symptom of his illness. Ridge fell asleep on my bed for a few hours, woke up crying in more head pain and then threw up. Cannon on Monday, complained that his head was killing him, a very strange symptom. Just so you know. I hope your kids don't get it. And I really hope that Laine and Sommer don't get it. How sad would that be for chubby baby to have a splitting headache and not be able to understand what is happening?

Wow, I'm so sorry. I hope they get better soon. I've actually been having some really bad headaches lately that have caused me to be pretty nauseous… but I just figured I was having some bad migraines that were worsened by lack of sleep…
But I am slowly feeling better so hopefully your boys will be back to normal soon!
Let me know if I can help out at all.

horrible! Im so sorry :( My sis in law got a sickness this year that just kept hangin on and hangin on..she was in bed off and on for about 2 weeks- so headachey and tired she could hardly function. Im so relieved we didn't get it. I know its probably a placebo but I drink zip fizz every day (and so do my kids and husband because whatever food mom seems to think is cool, everyone else wants to get in on the action) to help me replenish my vitamins from all the working out but this is the first year our family hasn't gotten sick either. I dont know but it seems to be helping.

Thankfully it has been just a 24 hour thing. Please don't let the girls get it...
