A Thanksgiving Baptism

We had the unique opportunity to have Ridge's baptismal service on Thanksgiving morning. It was a very special way to start the holiday. It gave us time to think about the things in our life that are truly meaningful as we were surrounded by family and close friends witnessing an event that is so very special. We are thankful for Ridge's decision to be baptized, thankful for our own testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ, thankful for family who came so far to be with us, thankful for friends who are like our family.
Sommer, Laine Katelyn, Ella, Luke, Ridge, Cannon -- the cousin's sang a special musical number called "When Jesus Christ was baptized." It was wonderful to have cousin's here for this day. My parents, Kent and Nellie, Chad and Angie were with us as well. So much love, we are truly blessed.

That's wonderful that he was able to have his baptism on Thanksgiving morning. I am sure he will always remember it. He looks so sharp in his blue shirt, and is that an imported italian tie he is wearing? Righteous and stylish, I love it!
Congratulations Ridge, you made a very wise choice.

How very special. I'm so glad you were able to have family join you.

You know, looking at that first picture, Ridge is starting to look like Eric. I always think of him as such a Sommer, but he is showing his Blaser side, too!
