The Wedding of the Year!

At least it was the wedding of the year for our family. It was a beautiful day, start to finish. Kent and Nellie were married in the Redlands temple. It is one of the smaller temples and is just around the corner from her family home where the reception was held later in the evening. They are so in love and so great together and so beautiful. We are all so happy for them.
I had several people from Nellie's family come up to me and say, "you must be Kent's sister." I've never had so many people tell us that we look that much alike. It was a nice compliment. Now if only I were funny like Kent too...
Nellie is the youngest of 10 children. 10! And they are all stellar. I don't know how they did it. Her parents already have 40 grandchildren. It was a party at their house even before the wedding started. Kent is a lucky man to have married into such a wonderful family. And we feel really lucky that we can call Nellie one of our own now.

And then there was dancing! Nellie did a great job with planning everything. Kent was excluded from the plans because he was studying for the Bar exam that took place the week before the wedding. Talk about stress.
Wish you could have been here!

It looks so great!! I wish my mom and I could have come up. They look so happy and in love. Your mom did such a great job with decorating, too. You and Kent do look a lot alike, but youʻre prettier. (your outfit is super cute)

Oh, I knew it would be good, but that was really good. Who wouldn't give you compliments on that?! I'll bet your mom did....
You look gorgeous. :)
