5 Months

Sweet baby girl is 5 months old today. She has taken to sucking on her bottom lip. Ridge did the same thing for a while. I love this little cap on her, the way it frames her chubby face so well. She only has a covering of fuzz on her noggin so she wears hats all the time.
I'm sad that she is chubbing out of her trumpettes but I just love all that baby fat on her little legs. These socks have been my favorite things to put on her and nearly every time she has worn them she has gotten compliments on them. Thanks for the set, mom.
Here she is modeling our new favorite outfit that she has grown into of late. Brown and pink and polka dots. Don't you just want to pick her up and give her a squeeze? She is really good at rolling over from front to back and can nearly go from back to front if she is mad enough. Sommer is just a great baby. She still doesn't sleep through the night, wakes up a couple or three times, but she is a happy girl. Even though it is hard to go through these nights of waking and sleeping I do cherish the chance to hold her and feel her warm little fuzz-head nestled on my neck. She is happy to watch the action around her and is very accustomed to the noise of our life. Ridge tries to scare her all the time and she'll jump but she doesn't cry about it, she enjoys the game now. She swings her chubby hands at everything, trying to get a hold of whatever is in front of her and jam it in her mouth, paper is one of her favorites at the moment. I just love this precious girl.

Paige, I think the second to the last picture looks just like you! Have people like your mom been saying that?

Those are awesome pictures, but then again, you do have a darn cute model to work with. These are pics you'll adore for a long time!

she sounds like so much fun! I think that last pic looks a lot like you too. I wonder if you could find some more little booties like those..or trumpet-somethings. I love them! I love the way sweet little baby heads feel too, so beautiful.
I don't know how you feel about it but have you read "Babywise" ?? It worked like a charm with both of our kids. Just a suggestion.

Congrats on the five-month mark! Somner is precious. It sounds like she's doing just like what Katie's doing! I really wish they could play. I think they'd have a ton of fun. Her new outfit is darling. She reminds me a lot of you, too!

Hee hee. Your mom gave me some trumpettes (the boy ones of course) and he wore them until his feet were busting out. They're so cute.

I sure enjoyed spending time with you and Sommer last week. She's beautiful as is my ever fashionable friend Paige. :)

Hi Paige! Hopefully you remember me from the good ol' Claremont 2nd Ward. I just happened upon your blog...what a darling family you have! I love that first picture of Sommer. Reminds me of my daughter. She likes to suck her bottom lip too. We call her our cabbage patch baby because she looks like one with her bottom lip sucked in like that. Anyway, thought I just leave a note and say "Hi." Hope you are having a Happy New Year! Janelle Riley Fruge

Such a dear little face--I think she needs a hug from Grandma!

My favorite post! What a beautiful baby Paige--and I love the outift. We really are just like grown up girls playing dress up with our dollies, and taking their pictures and bragging about them to our friends...I love it! God sure did it right when He made babies the most irresistable things ever--it's what gets you through those interrupted nights (through which we are still struggling as well, except our Ella is now over a year!) I guess I need the Baby Whisperer! ;-) How funny is this: Luke always tries to scare Ella too, and it's become a great game for them. Those two boys are a lot alike, aren't they?!
